Error upgrading OC Shoppica 2.1.2 to 2.2.0

Hi

I have the issue of the information item in the main nav bar menu vanishing so am trying to upgrade to 2.2.0 or 2.2.2. I am running OC 1.5.3.1

I get the same error upgrading to either:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class ControllerCommonSeoUrl in ….\catalog\controller\common\seo_url.php on line 118

Admin system is fine though.

How do I upgrade and resolve that issue?

No, only with shoppica 2 enabled.

I’m using v2.2.2 now, but still the same result.

Any ideas?

Yeah, details below:

The site is live this weekend being featured on TV – IT’s VERY IMPORTANT that the site doesn’t come down at all!! Use the dev site as a test if you need – completely separate installation.

No there aren’t any problems with the live site because i haven’t upgraded it.

I tested on the dev site which is a copy of the live site: that site and my local site both had problems so i regressed back to the working version.

Still have the issues.

any help? this is taking a while to fix

. I don’t see any errors there. Can you do the upgrade there so the error appears and we can see it. Please, also share with us the upgrade steps you did.

@sicotommo – As we said above, we weren’t able to reproduce the error on your site. Please, point us to an url, where we can see the error message.

Hey Ross, good fix, i’ll give it a go, thanks.

@TBSupport: you weren’t able to reproduce the error as the site was being featured on TV, as i said, and i had to go back to a stable error free version which didn’t have the error. I’ll see what happens with Ross’s fix above and let you know.
