Hello,

I’m using wp shoppica version 1.3 and I’m not able to setup either Facebook or Twitter widgets.

Could you please help me how to fix it? It’s really urgent because the site is going to be released soon

Hi,

We will need the website url and admin access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hi,

Just added twitter details. Please check it now. Everything is correct but the widget says “Couldn’t retrieve tweets! Wrong username?”

It breaks everything, so please look at it asap.

Because it breaks everything, the username of twitter is Aditplanet, so just copy it in the username field when you try to fix the problem

Hi,

It is sorted out. I used another plugin and works perfect. No need to change anything else.
Thanks for Facebook help, I appreciate that.

Hi,

Regarding to Facebook, I’ve tried to customize the stylesheet. I want to add another css (border-radius and box shadow) to make it looks like the twitter one. I tried to edit facebook.php under css folder but I couldn’t find what I should have changed.

Please give me instructions how to do it.

Thanks,

M.

Hello,

Unfortunately, with new Facebook API, its not possible to make any style changes to Fan Box. Previously this widget was customized, but its not working anymore.

Hi,

Thanks. Is there any other plugin I can use?
Do you have any suggestion?

Hello,

No matter which plugin you use, Facebook removed styling from API and its not possible to be styled. If you want try to search for one but we didnt find anything. :)

Hi,

I’ve already searched and installed another one, but no luck.
Although, I’m thinking to execute a piece of jquery when the dom load and change dynamically the css. As I’ve seen if you change the border radius and a bit more css of this class (“_4s7c”), then it’s ok. What do you think?

Hello,

You can try, but we are not sure this will work for all browsers.
