Maintanence Mode

The opencart admin page says:
Maintenance Mode:
Prevents customers from browsing your store. They will instead see a maintenance message. If logged in as admin, you will see the store as normal.

When I am in original Opencart template, when I am logged in as admin, I can see my page.
But after changing to shoppica2.2.2 theme, I just discovered I can’t view the page normally even I am logged as admin.

Is it normal?

No, this is not normal.

Could you provide some more information? We may need the website url, admin and ftp access as well.
You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.
