Missing h1 tag and js problem

This topic has been marked as resolved.

Hi,
missing the h1 tag of the home page, I added it by cheating and adding a html block in the header.

Several acceleration function are not compatible with the modules of the shop, due to blocking .js

1) Defer inline JS
2) Defer external JS
3) Combine JS
4) Minify JS

if one of these functions is enabled modules that use javascript stop working.

Should correct this because on my old theme with these active modules functions worked well.

thank you

Hi,

The home page does not have an h1 tag. Its is up to you to place what you like there.

Can you please give a more detailed description which modules do not work with Kiddos ?

We may need the website url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Yes of course,
there is a first module that does not work it’s “category wall”, the second is “fancy product designer”.

I modified the fnt_fancy_product_designer.be.xml file that you created for because it did not work with the language of the admin.

But anyway it does not work at all when I activie JS functions of your theme.

Here is the access (note the website is in production thank you).

thank you in advance

Hi,

We’ve uploaded a new version of Kiddos on ThemeForest. Can you try to update? There are numerous changes that fix JS loading.

P.S. We recommend to always backup files and database before update.

Hi,
I did the update and all the pages of my site are empty, the footer has disappeared and the contents of other pages too.

I was forced to upload my backup …

and burnengine is not included in the update file.

Hi,

We’ve moved BurnEngine files in the system/vendor folder. You should delete the old folder, but even, if you don’t, there shouldn’t be any problem.

Unfortunately, we cannot confirm the problem you have locally and will need to check it on your server. Can you duplicate your official installation (if you don’t want any down or maintenance time).

Hi,
I made a copy of the site, then here’s what I did:

1) I disabled all caches and minifications
2) I clear the cache and database files
3) I uploaded the files for update

but I did not click “UpgradeBurnEngine”
you can test if you like,

thank you

following the path to see the copy of website :

Hi,

Unfortunately, we are not able to get the front-end of the test installation to work. Admin is OK though.

About upgrade steps; you should click on the “upgrade” button.

Hi,
the fact to upload the files and click on the “upgrade” button is not enough, the site is down.

I am forced to remove the burnengine table setting of the database and upload the saved burnengine settings table, then I still have to click a second time to button “upgrade”.

And this time the site works
By cons I still can not use
optimize js
Defer js
minify html

We have corrected a bug in BurnEngine, which caused errors when you enable ‘Optimize JS’. The fix will be also included in our next update.
