PayPal Pro, credit card not processing

I just upgraded to Paypal Pro, installed an SSL certificate on my site and set it up to use credit cards directly from my shopping cart. When I did an actual test with my own credit card, after I clicked the “purchase” button it just looked like it refreshed the page. The credit card was not processed and the payment didn’t “complete”. I had to go back to Paypal Standard for now, but would really like to have it set up so that I can use Paypal Pro.

I can give you more details on my site, as well as access, if you like.
