product items not showing in shopping cart

hi, i imported all the sample xml data, but on my home page, when i add products to the shopping cart, it does not automatically add the price so you see it visibly added on the site, nor does it show up with the popup in the top right hand corner.

my “shop” page does seem to work correctly, but on the home page it’s not integrating correctly with the shopping cart. the setup looks the same as the demo, but clearly something’s wrong.

i’m using the WPecommerce plugin.

please advise.

When products are added to the shopping cart from the home page, the price is not reflected in the shopping cart. Whereas when products are added to the shopping cart from the shop page, the shopping cart DOES reflect the price.

There is something wrong with the product add to cart feature on the home page.

Does that explain it better?

Hi,

We’ve checked the website again (with all major browsers) and there are indeed some products that don’t update the price correctly. The problem, however comes from empty product options. Is this the problem that you are talking about?

Hi,

This product has no valid product options and this causes a zero price, when adding it to the cart. It also cannot be added at all, when you try to do this from the product page.

This product, however has no problems at all.
