Hi,
I have the same problem as others describe with Cache settings. Website is down:
Deleting the contents of system/storage/modification folder enables me to enter OpenCart, but BurnEngine is gone!
Please help.
Regards,
Twan

Hi,
1) In order to access your admin, try to delete the contents of the system/storage/modification folder, except the index.html file. This is safe operation, don’t worry.
2) After you access BurnEngine admin panel, please disable the DB cache for now. There is a known issue with db cache + opencart 2.2.0.0, but the fix is not ready yet.

Thanks for your reply, but like I stated in my first post about a week ago: ‘Deleting the contents of system/storage/modification folder enables me to enter OpenCart, but BurnEngine is gone!’
Unfortunately, I can not see Burnengine when I delete the contents and log in. Rebuilding cache in admin panel gives me exact same problem all over. That’s why I provided you with my login details.
Please help.

Hi,
Sorry for the wrong reply. We’ve logged onto your server and deleted only system/storage/modification/system/library/db.php and were able to disable DB cache and keep the theme panel working.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dear support,
Since this problem was solved I have the following problems:
1. If I add a new product and add an option, the option does not show, but is active.
If I copy a product with options, I can change it so that it works.
2. If I add a new subcategory, the category redirects to the homepage. So I can not add any new subcategories at all.
I only come across this now, since I only now had the need for extra products/subcategories.
Please help.

Hi,
Are these problems connected with database cache? There is a newer release that fixes a lot of problems, including one that involves cache and adding new products. Can you try to update and see, if the issue is still there?
P.S. As always, make sure you have a fully working backup before updating a running store.

Thanks for the reply,
Do you mean I should update Burnengine or Opencart itself?

Hi Twan,
We’ve mean BurnEngine in our previous post. There is a newer release that is going to be available in a couple of days. We’ve added even more fixes there.

Thank you ThemeBurn Team!
I upgraded BurnEngine, but I now have a small other problem.
Can you help me please?

Wow, all of a sudden my site says no theme installed.
I re-installed burnengine, but cannot get the settings to be imported again. Error on the live site after importing.
Either way. I will try to fix it myself first…

Hi,
I managed to get eveything back to the way it was before with latest BurnEngine v1.1.3.
However the problem with subcategories is still there:
If I make a new main category (or use existing one, no difference) and then add a subcategory. This subcategory always links to the main homepage instead of to the subcategory itself.
This means in practice I can no longer add any subcategory and am stuck with existing 3. Please help
