Translate Datepicker

This topic has been marked as not a support question.

Hi TB Support,

Have been searching for some time now on OC forums and this forum but can’t find it.

The datepicker/calander in product options is not translated in Dutch in my case. Can’t even find any months, days etc. in the language pack.

Is there any way to translate the datepicker?
I did find a way to change the date format from mm/dd/yy into dd-MM-yy. That’s the way we use it over here.
Did that in:
catalog/view/theme/pavilion/template/product/product.tpl
At line 909 set the date format like this:
dateFormat: 'dd MM yy',
And added a extra line with:
minDate: 0,
So you can’t set a date in the past. Strange that its not set like this by default.

But how to translate the months etc. I don’t have a clue…
Can you help me out with this one?

Regards,
Dieter

Hi TB Team,

Can’t get it to work.
When i do exactly what you explained the date picker doesn’t work any more…

As soon as I follow step 2 it stops working.
Am i missing something?

Thanks for the help so far,
Dieter

Hi,

We’ve tested the above code locally and everything worked fine. We will need the website url, admin and ftp access, so we can check.

You can use hidepost to share private information with the support staff.

Hi,

Can it have something to do with the deleted English language?
The language files are still on the server though…
Anyway…

The back and front end are in Dutch. The Pavilion CP not (yet). Hope its not a problem?

I have this other question:
Is it possible to get a ThemeBurn logo with a transparent background?
I’m going to make a “powered By” section in the footer. Tried to remove the background from another TB logo but it’s not looking good enough.
You can email it to:

Thanks again,
Dieter

The datepicker is in Chinees now. Can’t get it back to English or even better to Dutch.

Can you please set back what you did?

Dieter

//Edit

Hi,

We’ve used the technique described in: https://jqueryui.com/resources/demos/datepicker/localization.html , we’ve tested it on your website and it worked (tested on IE 11/10, Firefox and Chrome).

Finally Got it working. Not sure what happened but after upgrading to Pavilion 1.2.5 the method you described works just fine!

Thanks and regards,
Dieter

Hi,

Generally, there are no changes between 1.2.4 and 1.2.5 that should make any difference.

Anyway thanks for the feedback; we will test it again and add it in the next version.

ThemeBurn team
