This topic has been marked as not resolved.

I upgraded my OpenCart version along with Shoppica on V1. All worked. Now upgraded to V2 but I get the below warning message…

I have checked and all seems to be in order that is recommended below but still no joy.

Warning! You see this message because Shoppica 2 is not properly installed/configured. This happens usually due one (or more) of the following reasons:

1. You have not installed the Shoppica 2 module. Please, go to admin panel, enter Extensions -> Modules, find 'Shoppica 2 CP' and click 'install'.

2. You have not properly updated your index.php file. It should contain these two lines (near the end):

// TB
$controller->dispatch(new Action('common/tb', array('front' => $controller)), new Action('error/not_found'));
3. You have not replaced the opencart core files (system/engine/controller.php and catalog/model/setting/extension.php) with these provided with the Shoppica package.

For more information about the theme installation, please read carefully the Shoppica Documentation.

If you think you've made everything according to the installation instructions and this message continues to appear, please contact the support.

Hi.

The same problem. The theme doesn’t work with last versions. See the same Warning as in the post below. And I’m sure that everything was done properly. Plus I have already installed previous version and everything was good.

Opencart version – v1.5.5.1;
Theme version – v 2.2.2.

Please suggest your solution for this problem.

Thank you.

Hi

It seems that I found where the problem.
So during install I made next steps (localhost):
1) Install OpenCart (this run was tested on 1.5.4.1 but the same problem I had with 1.5.5.1)
2) Install vqmod (last version – 2.3.0)
3) Install Shoppica2 (without index.php change)
4) Manual adjustment of index.php
=> as I result I saw Warning page (both with OC 1.5.4.1. and 1.5.5.1.)

Solution (not really good as vqmod possible not working proper now)
Steps 1 till 4 – the same
5) I take index.php from you zip and changed it in the root.
=> as a result shoppica2 seems to be working now

So now I’ve got two questions:
1) Maybe I make something not in a right order?
2) What will be with vqmod after replacement of index.php in the root by your file?

Hope for respond.
Thank you.

Also, try to empty the vqmod/vqcache folder. This could fix your issues.
